Holland, Esq.
Ms.
Holland graduated from Vermont Law School, cum laude.
She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Vermont
state courts,the U.S. District Court for Western
Tennessee, and the Fifth and Sixth U.S. Circuit Courts
of Appeal.
During
law school, Ms. Holland was a Lecturer of English for a
year at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. Following
law school Ms. Holland was a judicial law clerk working
for four State of Vermont trial courts. Later Holland
was the first legal counsel to the Vermont Water
Resources Board (1990-91), and Interim Executive Officer
for the Board (October 1990-May 1991). She was the
Senior Federal Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jon
Phipps McCalla (1992-1995), held an Associate position
in a mid-sized Memphis firm (1995-1997), and is now a
member and owner of Holland & Associates, PLLC.
Holland & Associates, PLLC is a general civil
litigation practice with an emphasis on holistic law.
Ms.
Holland co-hosted the "Legal Café," a call-in radio
program on an AM Talk-Radio Station. She served as
President of the Federal Bar Association Mid-South
Chapter (1997-1998), during which time the Chapter
received the Chapter Activity Award for outstanding
programming and activities. She has Lectured on Article
2, Sexual Harassment and Holistic Law and has been
interviewed by radio programs on holistic
practice.
Currently
Ms. Holland sits as Special Judge in General Sessions
Court in Memphis on an as-needed basis. She is a member
of the Board of Directors for Renaissance Lawyer
Society, and is a certified Arbitrator for AUTOLINE and
for the Memphis Better Business Bureau.
